Selection Criteria:

Qualification: Master’s / MBA in Supply Chain Management or Marketing, or 16 years of equivalent relevant qualification.

Experience: Minimum 5 years proven experience in procurement.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Facilitate and assist in the procurement of light vehicles, plant, and equipment.
-
Prepare GSR requests via Headquarters for induction of plant and equipment.
-
Register vehicles, plant, and equipment with the concerned Excise & Taxation Office (ETO).
-
Vet and scrutinize plant and equipment for purchase.
-
Assist in the preparation of Board proceedings for purchases.
-
Arrange meetings and tenders for plant and equipment procurement.
-
Ensure provision of all plant, equipment, and vehicles as per user requirements.
-
Review and maintain records of all plant, equipment, and light vehicles.
-
Organize open auctions for defective equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
-
Inspect and manage disposal of all types of plant, equipment, vehicles, and stores.
-
Maintain records of plant, equipment, and vehicles for NLC engineers.
-
Provide data on plant and equipment for prequalification to HQ NLC.
-
Assist Project Directors in registering new vehicles, plant, and equipment with the ETO.
