Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Communications & Corporate Affairs will support the planning and execution of Unilever Pakistan’s corporate communications agenda. This role plays a vital part in strengthening corporate reputation, driving internal engagement, supporting sustainability storytelling, and building meaningful stakeholder relationships aligned with Unilever’s purpose and strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of corporate reputation and media engagement initiatives.

Develop and manage content strategies for Unilever’s digital and social platforms, aligned with global narratives.

Assist in proactive and reactive communications, including press releases, Q&As, and leadership messaging.

Coordinate with external agencies for content development, media monitoring, and event execution.

Support sustainability communications across Unilever’s four sustainability pillars.

Create compelling storytelling and communication materials to highlight sustainability initiatives.

Assist in organizing events, partnerships, and community engagement programs to enhance corporate reputation.

Design and implement internal communication strategies to foster an informed and engaged workforce.

Develop creative campaigns for internal platforms including town halls, newsletters, intranet, Yammer, and leadership communications.

Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.

Support change management and organizational transformation through effective communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, employee engagement, or sustainability communications.

Proven experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Hands-on experience in content strategy development and managing large-scale events.

Strong understanding of corporate reputation management, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
