Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Inventory & Store is responsible for overseeing day-to-day inventory and store operations, ensuring accurate stock management, efficient storage, and compliance with organizational policies. The role also supports the Store Manager in operational planning and staff supervision to maintain smooth and cost-effective inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, audits, and cycle checks to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare detailed inventory and stock reports, and support budgeting and inventory planning activities.

  • Monitor and control stock levels to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess and shortages.

  • Organize store layout and stock placement for efficient identification, accessibility, and safety.

  • Support, guide, and supervise store staff to ensure compliance with PCB policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Manage stock replenishment processes and coordinate timely availability of inventory.

  • Strictly implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices, especially for food and perishable items.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems to track stock movements.

  • Collaborate closely with the Procurement Department to optimize inventory flow and improve operational efficiency.
