Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager CAPEX Planning and Management will lead end-to-end CAPEX planning, budgeting, and governance, ensuring compliance with approved policies and controls. This role supports Three- and Five-Year Network Planning research, develops the Network Development Plan, optimizes investment strategies, monitors CAPEX utilization, and collaborates with Solution, Implementation, Maintenance, and Support teams to ensure investment alignment, capital efficiency, and timely, data-driven decision-making to support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CAPEX planning, budget preparation, and management.

  • Provide support for Three/Five-Year Network Planning research and Network Development Plan preparation.

  • Optimize investment strategy, annual CAPEX plan, and adjustment plans.

  • Review, reconcile, and manage CAPEX funds allocations in line with company policies.

  • Support financial operations for CAPEX and OPEX activities.

  • Maintain centralized database of NP Department PRs, POs, BPAs, and LCs.

  • Monitor CAPEX project tracker and ensure alignment with project milestones.

  • Conduct end-to-end financial analysis to evaluate investment benefits.

  • Review and process onshore/offshore payments.

  • Ensure compliance risk identification, reporting, and mitigation.

  • Act as liaison for effective cross-departmental coordination.

  • Support internal and external audits.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (MBA/Masters in Finance preferred).

  • Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CFA, PMP are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in CAPEX planning, financial management, or network planning.

Skills:

  • Generic: Strong communication, interpersonal, report-writing, analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving. Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively.

  • Job-Specific: Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, understanding of network planning and telecom operations, expertise in financial management systems, project and time management, and ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
