About the Role
As a Relationship Officer – Deposit at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL), you will manage and grow relationships with individual and corporate clients, focusing on deposit accounts. Your role is vital for acquiring new clients, retaining existing ones, and ensuring exceptional customer service while driving deposit growth.
Key Responsibilities

Execute customer acquisition strategies to build a strong deposit portfolio and achieve cross-sell targets.

Build and maintain CASA (Current & Savings Accounts) and Term Deposit (TD) customer portfolios within agreed timelines.

Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio targets for CASA and TD products.

Recruit and manage a deposit mobilization team, including Freelancers and Brand Ambassadors, to support retail deposit campaigns.

Maintain the targeted portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits.

Foster strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term business growth.

Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and internal coordination with branch units.

Monitor competitors’ activities to proactively retain and satisfy MMBL clients.

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize client value.

Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

Execute tasks and assignments efficiently as directed by the Line Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of deposit products and CASA fundamentals.

Minimum 1-year relevant experience in sales, management, or operations within retail/consumer banking or related industries.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
