Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer – Asset to support its asset sales and business growth initiatives. The role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, ensuring quality loan disbursement, and maintaining strict compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the bank and its customers, providing tailored financial solutions while upholding ethical banking practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute approved sales and service plans to achieve assigned growth targets in coordination with BM/RM.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in line with the bank’s SOPs.

  • Achieve sales objectives in assigned areas through ethical and compliant selling practices.

  • Ensure genuine loan sales by avoiding family loaning, activist-based lending, and adjustment lending.

  • Promote profitability by increasing loan portfolio and expanding the customer base.

  • Market bank products and contribute to sales strategies for assigned territories.

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities by assessing market trends and prospects.

  • Assess customer creditworthiness using the Five C’s of Credit.

  • Clearly communicate product features, terms, and conditions to customers.

  • Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure accurate profiling.

  • Ensure proactive loan recovery and 100% collections by maintaining regular customer communication.

  • Handle customers’ legal documents with extreme care to avoid misuse or discrepancies.

  • Guide customers to deposit loan repayments strictly at bank cash counters.

  • Avoid cash handling during routine operations; ensure strict compliance with collection manuals during field collections.

  • Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with the Line Manager.

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly customer meetings as per product programs.

  • Perform loan booking in strict compliance with bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Continuously update product and service knowledge and provide improvement suggestions through feedback.

  • Conduct market research to explore new business areas and enhance existing markets.

  • Meet internal service standards and ensure zero customer service complaints.

  • Build and sustain long-term customer relationships for the bank.

  • Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the Line Manager or HOD.

  • Ensure compliance with bank SOPs and SBP regulations to protect the bank’s reputation and assets.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution (MBA preferred).

  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in banking, sales, or financial services.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work in field sales and meet targets ethically.
