Job Purpose:
The BDM will manage and promote National Foods’ products in APAC and emerging markets, ensuring distributor sales targets, profitability, and objectives are achieved. The role also involves identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new distributors to expand global market presence.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution Management:
-
Achieve region-wise sales targets and assign targets to individual distributors.

Monitor distributor performance and implement corrective measures as needed.

Generate orders, offer trade discounts during peak seasons, and ensure profitability targets are met.

Review pricing strategies against competition and negotiate with distributors.
-
Manage the Assistant BDM – Afghanistan to meet their targets.

Forecasting & Order Management:
-
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, coordinating with Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D.

Ensure accurate and timely order processing and monitor lead times.

Notify distributors/customers of shipments and resolve post-shipment issues.

Marketing & Brand Promotion:

Plan and execute ATL & BTL marketing activities, including market visits, exhibitions, festivals, and fairs.

Prepare and manage marketing budgets and monitor expenses.

Support distributors in local promotional initiatives.

Market Analysis & Growth Opportunities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of export markets to identify growth potential.

Study sales trends, monitor distributor inventories, and recommend product range expansions.

Coordinate with R&D to comply with local food laws and labeling requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Experience: 8–10 years in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in FMCG or international markets.
