Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Branch Manager to lead its Hasilpur Branch. The incumbent will be responsible for driving financial growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining service standards while managing the branch as a fully accountable revenue center.

This role requires strong leadership, business development expertise, and a deep understanding of microfinance operations to maintain a healthy balance between loans and deposits and achieve self-funding status.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performance team to achieve financial and service-level targets.

• Plan and execute branch strategy focused on loan and deposit acquisition within assigned budgets.

• Drive branch profitability and ensure self-funding status by maintaining an optimal loans-to-deposits balance.

• Control operational expenses and promote financial discipline aligned with microfinance business dynamics.

• Act as a Credit Officer and facilitate timely loan approvals.

• Oversee all operational and administrative branch functions.

• Ensure adherence to branch timings and smooth daily opening/closing procedures.

• Optimize branch workflow and resource deployment through effective capacity planning.

• Manage collections and recovery processes to maintain portfolio quality within assigned targets.

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all financial and operational transactions.

• Manage daily cash planning to maintain optimal liquidity and avoid idle cash holdings.

• Conduct staff training and build leadership capabilities within the team.

• Prepare the branch for internal, external, and SBP audits at any time.

• Safeguard the bank’s reputation through strong compliance, reconciliation, and governance practices.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Commerce from a recognized institution (MBA preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking/microfinance experience, preferably in a leadership role.

• Strong understanding of branch operations, credit management, and financial controls.

• Proven leadership, people management, and business development skills.
