Age Limit: 37 Years (5 years general age relaxation already included)


Position Overview

NADRA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director (Java Backend Developer) to join its technical team on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and developing scalable backend systems, microservices, and secure APIs to support enterprise-level applications.


Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Master’s degree will be preferred

  • Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory

  • All degrees must be attested by HEC


Professional Experience

  • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and RESTful APIs

  • Manage the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using agile methodologies

  • Develop and maintain data access layers for relational and NoSQL databases

  • Implement and manage applications in containerized environments

  • Ensure application security through modern authentication and encryption protocols

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively


Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security

  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka, and API Management (WSO2)

  • Good understanding of security standards: JWT, OAuth 2.0, TLS/SSL, PKI, encryption protocols

  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Ability to work in morning and evening shifts


Terms & Conditions

  • Hiring will be on a contract basis, with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required)

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
