Job Overview:
As a Cost Accounting Specialist, you will ensure accurate cost accounting and financial reporting, manage budgetary controls, and support compliance with accounting standards. This role involves coordinating with internal and external teams, analyzing variances, and preparing reports to drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle general and cost accounting transactions accurately.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Ensure budgetary control on cost items.

  • Coordinate with GSC for SAP role creation, support, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting standards, and METRO guidelines.

  • Prepare variance analysis for performance evaluation.

  • Support group and external audit processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA articles completed, ACMA/ACCA part-qualified, or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce from a reputable university.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost/accounting functions.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP FICO, accounting & auditing standards, Companies Ordinance, and tax laws.

  • Excellent command of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle complex financial data and reporting.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
