About the Role:
Join Telenor Pakistan’s IP Core & Transport Implementation team to lead end-to-end deployment of network infrastructure, including MW rollout, CE/PE routers, CDNs, DWDM systems, and IP Aggregation layers. This role combines technical expertise with project management, acting as a key liaison between engineering, vendors, and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute IP Core and Transport network projects per approved designs, timelines, and quality standards.

Manage project milestones, resources, materials, and vendor coordination.

Deliver router/switch configurations and site-level activations.
-
Serve as technical interface during rollouts and handovers.
-
Drive issue resolution during rollout and post-deployment phases.
Daily Activities:
-
Review project scopes, designs, and implementation plans with teams and vendors.
-
Prepare rollout schedules, track progress, and flag risks.
-
Execute or supervise network device configuration, testing, and service provisioning.

Coordinate with Operations and Planning for cutovers and network verification.
-
Attend project reviews, update documentation, and ensure timely deliverables.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical or Telecom Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years in transport/network rollout

Certifications: Cisco CCNP-SP / JNCIP-SP, PMP or equivalent

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, LDP, Segment Routing)
-
Router and transport equipment commissioning (CEs, PE/P, DWDM, IP-Agg, CDN)

Project lifecycle management & reporting tools (MS Project, Primavera P6)

Network quality verification, post-deployment testing, technical handovers

Soft Skills: Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder coordination
