Eligibility & Qualification

• Education: BA / MA or 16 years of education in a relevant field.

• Experience: 3–5 years in Environmental Health and Safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect sites to maintain a hazard-free environment.

• Conduct toolbox meetings and lead safety initiatives.

• Participate in the project safety council and enhance workplace safety standards.

• Review and approve subcontractors’ safety plans.

• Maintain injury logs and reports for submission to government authorities.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are safe for use.

• Promote and enforce safe practices at job sites.

• Train employees and conduct emergency drills.

• Investigate accidents and near-misses; report to relevant authorities.

• Conduct job hazard analyses and establish safety policies.

• Coordinate hazardous waste registration and removal.

• Liaise with state/local agencies, contractors, and labor inspectors.

• Arrange OSHA-mandated testing/evaluations by external agencies.

• Follow SOPs issued by HQ NLC and instructions from Project Directors.

• Undertake other assignments as directed by Senior Project Managers.
