Job Description

Octans Digital Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a certified VMware Cloud professional with hands-on experience in administering VMware Public Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will manage cloud infrastructure, ensure operational excellence, and provide high-quality support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Regional Public Cloud Infrastructure, including patching, updates, and version upgrades.

• Deploy and manage Software Defined Networks (VMware NSX) for Public Cloud Infrastructure.

• Configure and optimize Cloud Management Services for operational excellence.

• Handle customer requests via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding and change management.

• Perform systems and infrastructure monitoring using VMware vCenter, vRealize Operations Manager, and VEEAM One.

• Coordinate with vendors (VMware, EMC, HP, VEEAM) for software and application-level support.

• Administer backup of Cloud Management Infrastructure.

• Deploy templates for public-facing catalogs for end customers.

• Develop automation processes for Public Cloud Infrastructure, including alerts, notifications, and maintenance tasks.

• Maintain complete documentation including design documents, configuration workbooks, and system inventories.

• Provide Tier 2 support for Public Cloud Infrastructure.
