🎯 Position Overview

The Department Manager – Checkout is responsible for overseeing all checkout floor operations, ensuring smooth cashier management, accurate reconciliations, excellent customer service, and strong team performance.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile GMS reports with cash and credit transactions.

• Prepare and manage cashier shift schedules.

• Oversee checkout floor operations including cash tills and end controls.

• Ensure smooth implementation of customer service standards.

• Train, coach, and develop cashiers for performance improvement.

• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and proactively.

• Monitor team productivity and bridge performance gaps.

• Review and approve operational activities of team members.

• Maintain team motivation and foster a positive work environment.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

🎓 Qualifications

• Intermediate with 8+ years of relevant experience, or

• Graduate with less than 8 years of experience.
