About the Role

As a General Banking Officer at MMBL, you will provide efficient customer service and manage branch-level banking operations. You will handle account opening, non-financial transactions, customer queries, complaints, and assist in branch administrative tasks. This role also involves maintaining fixed assets, security stationery, and supporting compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and handle branch operations in line with service and quality standards.

• Manage all operational tasks including account opening/closing, stop payments, SOA issuance, loan accounts, deceased accounts, and more for Core and JazzCash customers. Participate in Gold Loan assessments.

• Prepare deceased customer refunds and maintain accurate records.

• Perform non-financial transactions accurately, guide walk-in customers, and cross-sell bank products.

• Maintain branch inventory, fixed assets, and security stationery. Ensure proper administrative support.

• Handle customer complaints efficiently, providing solutions within TAT.

• Maintain registers, reconcile sundry and suspense accounts, process clearing instruments, and manage cheque books/ATM cards.

• Process cash deposits and withdrawals, ensure cash accuracy, detect counterfeit notes, and manage cash balancing and reporting.

• Perform fund transfers (FTs, TTs), clearing entries, and safeguard keys and stamps.

• Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in banking operations.
