Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Department Manager – Fruit & Vegetables to oversee and optimize the department operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise overall department activities and ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor stock expiry, perform timely stock corrections, and manage pricing updates.

• Handle customer queries and complaints with timely resolution.

• Train, coach, and manage departmental staff performance.

• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, food safety, and security standards.

• Verify goods receiving with proper documentation and quality checks.

• Conduct market visits for price updates and product coordination.

• Lead weekly inventory audits and maintain accurate records.

• Analyze sales data to optimize product mix and maximize profitability.

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance store operations and customer experience.

• Implement sustainable practices and waste reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Intermediate degree.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in retail or wholesale management.
