Role Overview:
The Specialist Legal, Compliance & Data Protection will support the Head of Legal & Compliance in day-to-day legal, compliance, and data protection matters, ensuring business operations align with corporate, regulatory, and privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal:

• Manage litigation through external counsels and maintain legal records.

• Conduct legal research to support business operations.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, MOUs, and agreements.

• Oversee real estate and commercial transactions.

• Liaise with regulatory and governmental authorities.

Compliance:

• Conduct compliance training for employees.

• Handle corporate and employee compliance matters.

• Investigate non-compliance complaints and ensure proper resolution.

• Collaborate with marketing on compliance communications.

• Review and implement company policies under Head of Legal guidance.

Data Protection:

• Implement data protection measures and manage associated risks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.

• Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in legal, compliance, or data protection.

• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and privacy laws.

• Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, litigation, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
