About the Role:
As an Assistant Manager – Media Planning & Budgets, you will support the development and execution of insight-led media strategies across traditional and digital media. You will manage media agency operations end-to-end, oversee budgeting and financial processes, and collaborate with Strategy, Brand, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement media strategies based on consumer insights and media trends.

  • Manage media agency performance, planning, buying, execution, and tracking against KPIs.

  • Identify and build strategic media opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

  • Coordinate with Strategy, Brand, Digital, and OOH teams to execute integrated campaigns.

  • Oversee media budgeting including forecasting, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

  • Manage PR, PO, and GRN processes for marketing activities.

  • Track and evaluate campaign performance to optimize results and ROI.

Typical Day:

  • Coordinating with internal teams and media agency for campaign execution.

  • Media planning and buying of ATL campaigns.

  • Managing marketing budget allocation, monthly/quarterly planning, and spend closure.

  • Ensuring smooth financial operations in collaboration with Finance and Procurement.

  • Handling GRNs, accruals, and reporting for marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or MBA

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in media planning, buying, media research, and budget management

  • Skills:

    • Media planning, buying, and research expertise

    • Budget management and financial operations

    • Strong project management and analytical skills

    • Innovative, proactive, and creative mindset

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
