About the Role:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will lead on-ground indirect sales within the assigned territory through the franchise channel, converting market opportunities into sales growth. You will drive business performance, manage franchises, and ensure a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Management

Communicate targets effectively and monitor performance.
-
Conduct market visits to gather insights and track competitors.
-
Plan routes and set targets for RSOs.
-
Monitor profitability and staffing at franchise outlets.
-
Motivate and train franchise and retail staff.
-
Ensure franchise compliance with PTA regulations and company SOPs.
Distribution Management
-
Expand retail footprint to improve product and service availability.
-
Improve sales quality across all verticals.
-
Monitor channel investments and trends.
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
-
Execute key strategic projects aligned with organizational goals.
-
Work on assigned projects to enhance sales and distribution performance.
Impactful Goals / KPIs:

Achieve monthly and annual targets via effective franchise management.

Drive growth in revenue from primary & secondary recharge, devices, financial services, and internet offerings.

Improve market share and location-based business KPIs.
-
Ensure franchise and retail staff are trained and engaged.
Your Career Path:

Growth within Indirect Sales Channel roles.

Opportunities in S&D Operations, S&D Planning, or Trade Marketing (regional/national).

Transition to Direct/Corporate Sales within the Business Solutions department.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field (business-related preferred).
Experience:
-
Sales and/or distribution experience in an organization with a sizable network.

Team leadership experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong team management and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication in English (verbal & written).

Analytical mindset with business acumen.
