Position Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Assistant Manager – Network Operations to ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Support daily network operations and ensure uninterrupted service availability.

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.

Network & Security Administration

• Manage and configure firewalls including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, and Sophos.

• Handle Site-to-Site IPsec VPN troubleshooting and SD-WAN deployments.

• Oversee UTM features and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies.

Project & Resource Coordination

• Assist in planning and executing network-related projects.

• Manage inventory and optimize capacity planning for network resources.

• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for branch connectivity.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for smooth network support services.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Prepare operational reports and performance analysis.

• Maintain quality standards and continuous process improvement.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and guide junior team members.

• Support training initiatives and skill development programs.

• Act as liaison between technical teams and senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years in network operations or a supervisory/lead role.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Network & Network Security

• SD-WAN architecture and implementation

• Private Cloud concepts

• Firewall and VPN management

• Experience with enterprise-level network solutions

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
