About the Role
Meezan Bank is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data & Advanced Analytics to lead enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives. This strategic leadership role will drive the Bank’s data governance, analytics, AI/ML innovation, and digital enablement agenda in alignment with regulatory and Shariah-compliant banking frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Advanced certifications in Data Management, AI/ML, or Executive Leadership (e.g., CDMP, CDO, MBA) preferred.
-
Qualification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
-
15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or technology domains.

Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing large, cross-functional data teams.
Key Skills & Competencies
-
Strong banking domain expertise (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Retail & Corporate Banking).

Proven leadership in fast-paced, transformation-driven environments.

Hands-on understanding of modern data platforms, AI/ML frameworks, BI tools, and enterprise integration technologies.

Experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in banking environments.

Strong knowledge of data governance, encryption standards, SBP regulations, GDPR, and enterprise compliance frameworks.
Core Responsibilities

Define and execute the Bank’s enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with business and regulatory objectives.

Establish and enforce data governance, privacy, security, and compliance standards.

Oversee all data and AI initiatives with centralized control and strategic direction.

Manage and prioritize the analytics portfolio to ensure innovation, adoption, and value-driven outcomes.

Build stakeholder alignment and cultivate a strong data-driven culture across the organization.
