📌 Position Overview

Unilever is hiring an experienced Operations Lead – Home Care to oversee manufacturing operations at its Home Care plant. This role is responsible for ensuring world-class production standards across engineering, utilities, facilities, and palletisation—while maintaining high levels of quality, safety, hygiene, and cost efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Works Director Home Care, this role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence and performance culture within the plant.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-volume, flexible manufacturing operation on a daily basis

• Oversee engineering standards, planned & preventive maintenance, utilities, and facilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, ISO, and statutory regulations

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, and cost savings

• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed

• Foster a strong safety-first and quality-driven culture

• Optimize production costs through efficient run strategies and savings initiatives

• Collaborate cross-functionally across Supply Chain and broader business units

• Lead teams through change and promote high-performance culture

🎓 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum requirement)

• 3–5 years of experience in relevant manufacturing/Make roles

• Experience in FMCG or high-volume production environments preferred

• Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational efficiency
