Job Description

Telenor Pakistan is seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and manage indirect sales operations within the assigned territory through the franchise channel. This role focuses on converting market opportunities into revenue growth while strengthening distribution networks and ensuring operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual targets through effective franchise management.

  • Drive Gross Adds – First Call Activation (FCA).

  • Increase revenue through Primary & Secondary Recharge.

  • Promote Financial Services, Devices, and Internet product offerings.

  • Deliver location-based segment KPIs.

  • Improve business growth and market share within the territory.

  • Execute key strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.

Franchise Management

  • Communicate targets clearly and monitor performance regularly.

  • Conduct market visits to gather insights and competitor intelligence.

  • Plan routes and set targets for RSOs.

  • Monitor franchise profitability and staffing.

  • Organize motivation and training sessions for franchise and retail teams.

  • Ensure strong CSAT/DSAT performance.

  • Maintain compliance with PTA regulations and company SOPs.

  • Manage franchise documentation and induction of new partners.

Distribution Management

  • Improve retail servicing trends and ensure minimum balance standards.

  • Expand retail footprint to increase product and service availability.

  • Monitor channel investments and ensure quality sales across verticals.

  • Strengthen retail servicing for GSM and Financial Services.

Projects

  • Lead and support additional projects assigned by the line manager to enhance Sales & Distribution performance.

What We’re Looking For

Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Business background preferred).

Experience:

  • Experience in sales and/or distribution within a sizeable network.

  • Prior team leadership experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent English communication (written & verbal)

  • Analytical thinking and business acumen

  • Customer-centric and proactive approach

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
