Job Purpose

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for leading assigned territories by effectively managing distributors and order bookers, executing sales strategies, and achieving monthly sales targets while ensuring strong market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly unit-wise and value-wise sales targets for assigned territories.

  • Break down monthly targets into daily targets for order bookers to ensure effective market coverage.

  • Prepare and analyze territory/category-wise sales reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.

  • Supervise and motivate order bookers through daily performance monitoring and coaching.

  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate outlet coverage, productivity, and market trends.

  • Ensure implementation of trade marketing activities in line with approved marketing plans.

  • Design effective sales strategies and PJPs (Permanent Journey Plans) aligned with territory needs and RTM structure.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives.

  • Manage territory budgets, forecast sales, and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s Degree required)

  • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG
