Job Overview

Telenor Pakistan is looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to join its team as Assistant Manager – Channel Performance & Analytics. The role focuses on monitoring business performance, analyzing distribution channel data, and improving pay-for-performance models such as RISE and Arrear frameworks across National, Circle, and Regional levels.

The selected candidate will be responsible for generating data-driven insights, developing performance metrics, and supporting leadership teams in making strategic business decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze digital and business performance reports to improve operational efficiency.

  • Develop and monitor performance metrics and KPIs aligned with evolving business trends.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance analysis reports to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Support CEO and CMO performance reviews and assist in battle room management.

  • Provide actionable insights and business recommendations to circle and regional teams.

  • Monitor performance growth at circle and franchise levels on a monthly and yearly basis.

  • Ensure governance and discourage any unethical or inefficient practices.

  • Develop and enhance KPI frameworks and commission policies for sales teams.

  • Conduct market research to generate actionable insights for improving sales performance.

  • Identify performance gaps in KPIs and support teams in improving market share.


Daily Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed data analysis and KPI evaluations.

  • Redefine key metrics related to GSM, I&D, and Financial Services performance.

  • Validate and review sales staff and franchise payout calculations based on performance.

  • Conduct trend analysis, cross-tab analysis, and number validation.

  • Ensure data accuracy, archiving, and quality checks.

  • Translate complex data sets into clear business insights and recommendations.

  • Support sales teams with data-driven strategies for market growth.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)

  • Understanding of Telecom Business, Distribution Models, B2B & B2C environments

  • Strong problem-solving and process-oriented thinking

  • Ability to work under pressure with a self-motivated mindset


Preferred Experience

Candidates with 2–3 years of experience in the telecom industry will be preferred, particularly in areas such as:

  • Product Planning

  • Channel Planning

  • Commercial Planning

  • Business Intelligence / Analytics

  • Market Segmentation
