Job Purpose
The Territory Sales Manager – Modern Trade will be responsible for achieving Modern Trade sales targets within the assigned region. The role focuses on managing distributor performance, strengthening relationships with key LMT (Large Modern Trade) accounts, and ensuring all sales activities align with the company’s Modern Trade sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Key Account Manager (KAM) and Sales Support team to implement effective route-to-market strategies.

Set and achieve sales targets for key accounts within the assigned territory.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade customers and retail partners.

Monitor and report sales performance against agreed targets.

Address product or sales-related issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.

Act as the primary contact for key customers regarding support, payments, and delivery coordination.

Conduct store visits to check product availability, stock levels, and expiry dates.

Identify new opportunities to expand market presence in underserved areas.

Provide feedback to KAM, QIRD, and Marketing teams on product performance and market trends.

Track and manage regional sales budgets and report variances where necessary.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changing consumer preferences.

Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to management.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate)

Experience: 2–4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in Modern Trade or FMCG sector

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Ability to analyze sales performance and market data
