Job Overview
The Assistant Director (Civil – Engineering Services) will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects related to building construction and infrastructure development. The role requires strong expertise in construction management, engineering standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and quality project completion.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Civil Engineering

Minimum 16 years of education verified by HEC
-
PEC registration is mandatory
-
All academic degrees must be attested by HEC / relevant boards

Professional Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects, preferably in building construction and infrastructure development
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and review civil engineering designs, drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.

Prepare layout plans, cost estimates, work schedules, and project planning documents.

Supervise on-site civil works including excavation, concrete works, masonry, finishing, and infrastructure works.

Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, engineering standards, and safety regulations.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of materials and workmanship.

Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with engineering codes and regulations.

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project teams for effective project execution.

Participate in site meetings and project coordination sessions.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and presentations for management.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and engineering standards

Experience with site supervision and project monitoring

Proficiency in engineering and project management software, including:

AutoCAD
-
MS Project / Primavera

The selected candidate will be hired on a contract basis, with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required).
