Job Overview

Hoechst Pakistan Limited is seeking a results-driven Area Trade Manager to lead trade operations, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sales growth within the assigned territory. The role focuses on executing trade strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring strong product availability and visibility at the pharmacy and retail level.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned product portfolio.

• Ensure product availability and visibility at pharmacy level through effective RTM (Route to Market) execution and regular market visits.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with top retail customers through frequent engagement and visits.

• Negotiate quarterly and annual contracts with key customers to support sustainable growth.

• Execute trade activations, promotions, and marketing activities to achieve business objectives.

• Coordinate closely with business partners and distributors to ensure execution of distribution KPIs.

• Manage and optimize trade budgets and resources efficiently.

• Lead team management, coaching, and development of field staff.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of trade marketing experience in FMCG or multinational pharmaceutical companies (consumer division).

• Strong Key Account Management knowledge.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
