About the Role

Telenor Pakistan is seeking a qualified HSE Expert to strengthen health, safety, and environmental compliance within its supply chain operations.

This role focuses on risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and sustainability initiatives across the Technology Division’s supply chain. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and HSE auditors to ensure adherence to Telenor’s Supplier Conduct Principles and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Senior Manager HSE in achieving supply chain sustainability KPIs and objectives.

• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments across Technology Division processes.

• Develop and implement mitigation plans for identified risks.

• Manage the Supply Chain Sustainability Program.

• Build strong collaboration with suppliers to ensure responsible and compliant operations.

Operational Responsibilities

• Monitor and report HSSE compliance across supply chain operations.

• Implement ABC/SCP frameworks within the supply chain.

• Develop and maintain HSE documentation, policies, and procedures.

• Facilitate and support external HSE compliance audits.

• Assist in designing HSE training programs for internal teams and supply chain partners.

• Support the development of an HSE improvement roadmap with Corporate Health & Safety teams.

• Manage projects related to HSE improvement initiatives.

• Conduct engagement activities such as safety campaigns and roadshows.

• Promote advanced safety culture programs within the supply chain.

• Analyze safety data and improve reporting of leading safety indicators.

• Assist teams in implementing HSE monitoring and control processes.

• Support incident investigations and develop corrective and preventive action plans.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles.

• Experience delivering Train-the-Trainer programs in:

  • Work at Height

  • Electrical Safety

  • Road Safety

  • First Aid

Certifications

Preference for internationally recognized HSE certifications such as:

• NEBOSH International General Certificate

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification

• SA8000 Lead Auditor Certification

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
