Role Overview
The Relationship Manager – Deposit at Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL) is responsible for developing and managing strong relationships with individual and corporate clients to grow the bank’s deposit portfolio.
The role focuses on acquiring new customers, strengthening existing relationships, and delivering customized financial solutions to meet client banking needs. The Relationship Manager plays a critical role in achieving deposit growth targets while ensuring high-quality customer service and long-term client engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Execute the deposit sales strategy and customer acquisition plan to meet portfolio growth and cross-selling targets.

Achieve assigned portfolio targets for CASA, Savings Accounts, and Term Deposits on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Build and manage a deposit mobilization team of up to 25 members, including Freelancers and Brand Ambassadors for retail deposit marketing.

Maintain the targeted portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits.

Drive fairly priced deposit acquisition to support sustainable retail deposit growth.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to create long-term business partnerships.

Ensure deposit mobilization through a large number of accounts to reduce portfolio concentration risk.

Maintain a consistent run rate of NTB (New-to-Bank) account openings on a daily basis.

Deliver exceptional customer service in coordination with branch staff.

Identify clients’ financial needs and provide appropriate solutions such as:

Payments & Cash Management

Trade Services
-
Treasury Solutions
-
Investment Banking Services
(in coordination with Area or Regional Management)

Strengthen client relationships to unlock 360-degree banking opportunities.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to retain and grow the customer base.

Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in:

Business Administration
-
Commerce
-
Accounting
-
Marketing
-
Economics
-
Finance
-
-
MBA will be preferred (subject to approval).
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
-
Sales planning
-
Sales management
-
Retail or consumer banking operations
-
Skills & Knowledge
-
Strong understanding of deposit banking products.
-
Knowledge of CASA (Current Account / Savings Account) fundamentals and deposit growth strategies.
-
Excellent client relationship management and sales skills.
-
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
