Location: Islamabad – Headquarters
Age Limit: Up to 37 Years (including 5-year general age relaxation)
Job Overview
The Assistant Director (.NET Engineer) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications under NADRA’s Digital Economy Enhancement Project. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, web development, and database systems, along with experience in modern software architecture and secure API development.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 16 years of HEC-recognized education
-
All academic degrees must be verified and attested by HEC
Professional Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant technical role
-
Certification in ASP.NET Development from a reputable institution will be considered an added advantage
Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills
Application Development
-
Develop enterprise applications using .NET Core (version 6 or above) and .NET Framework
-
Strong programming expertise in C#
Front-End Development
-
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for building responsive user interfaces

Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and preferably React
Web & API Development

Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC and RESTful Web APIs

Knowledge of API authentication and security standards such as OAuth and JWT
System Integration

Experience integrating Windows-based applications with external devices
-
Exposure to biometric device integration will be an advantage
Database Management

Experience with relational databases such as:

MS SQL Server

Oracle
-
PostgreSQL

Version Control & Development Practices

Proficient in Git-based version control systems

Understanding of branching, merging, and pull request workflows
Software Architecture

Familiarity with modern architectural patterns including:

Selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable based on performance.
