About the Role
Telenor Pakistan is looking for a talented Assistant Manager – Analytics & Data Science to drive the adoption of AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics across the organization.
In this role, you will develop and deploy data science models and AI solutions to support business strategy and decision-making. You will work closely with Business Units, Marketing, CLM, CVM, and other stakeholders to solve business problems through innovative data-driven approaches.
This position offers the opportunity to work with large datasets, advanced analytics tools, and modern AI technologies to deliver impactful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data Science & AI Solutions

Solve complex business problems using AI/ML and data science techniques.

Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

Apply ensemble modeling techniques to improve prediction accuracy.

Design and deploy AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives.
Data Management & Analysis
-
Identify and integrate valuable data sources.
-
Automate data collection and processing workflows.
-
Perform data preprocessing for structured and unstructured datasets.
-
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
Business Collaboration

Partner with business teams and commercial stakeholders to address operational challenges.

Present insights through data visualization and analytical storytelling.
-
Provide data-backed recommendations for strategic decisions.

Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Knowledge Sharing & Innovation

Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on AI/ML advancements, including LLMs and model updates.

Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Query and aggregate large datasets using SQL.

Perform data preprocessing, modeling, and visualization using Python.

Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field.

Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, AI, or another quantitative discipline (preferred).
Experience
-
Proven experience as a Senior Analyst, Data Scientist, or AI Engineer.
-
4–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
-
Experience working with BI and Data Warehouse systems in telecom environments is a plus.
