About the Role
The Relationship Manager – Asset at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) plays a key role in driving asset growth while building strong, long-term customer relationships. This position combines financial advisory, sales strategy, and portfolio management.
The Relationship Manager acts as a trusted financial partner to clients, understanding their financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions that support their personal and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve branch growth targets.

Develop micro-level sales strategies in coordination with Branch Manager / Regional Manager.

Identify new business opportunities through market research and prospecting.

Promote and market bank products to expand the customer base.

Achieve assigned sales targets while adhering to ethical practices and bank SOPs.
Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Provide guidance on bank products, terms, and financial solutions.

Conduct regular meetings with customers to maintain engagement and service quality.

Ensure fair treatment of customers and resolve service issues proactively.
Credit & Loan Management
-
Assess customer profiles using the Five C’s of Credit methodology.

Perform verification of prospective clients and ensure accurate documentation.

Facilitate loan booking, disbursement, and collections according to bank policies.

Monitor repayment behavior and ensure timely loan recovery.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulations set by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Safeguard customer legal documents and maintain data confidentiality.

Report any suspected fraud or risk to the line manager immediately.

Follow strict procedures for loan verification, documentation, and collections.
Branch & Portfolio Management

Manage and grow the asset portfolio of the assigned branch.

Conduct regular market assessments to identify new sales opportunities.

Prepare weekly field activity plans and track performance deviations.

Support profitability objectives through effective portfolio management.
Team Leadership
-
Supervise and guide Relationship Officers – Asset Sales.

Train and mentor team members to improve sales productivity and credit assessment skills.

Motivate the team to achieve business targets and maintain high professional standards.

Coordinate with operations teams for timely loan disbursement and processing.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (MBA preferred).

Minimum 3 years of experience in the microfinance or banking sector.

Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Knowledge of credit evaluation and loan portfolio management.
-
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
