Job Overview
The Relationship Manager – Asset at Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL) is responsible for managing client relationships, driving asset sales, and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth. This role focuses on identifying potential clients, evaluating creditworthiness, and delivering tailored financial solutions aligned with customers' business and personal financial goals.
The position requires strong relationship management skills, market awareness, and the ability to achieve sales targets while ensuring full compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve branch growth targets.

Identify potential clients and develop strong business relationships.
-
Promote and sell asset products in accordance with bank SOPs.
-
Achieve assigned sales targets with ethical and compliant practices.
-
Identify new markets and opportunities through market research.
-
Develop and execute sales strategies based on market demand.
Client Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
-
Understand customer financial needs and offer appropriate solutions.
-
Clearly communicate product features, terms, and conditions.
-
Conduct regular customer meetings as per product program guidelines.
Credit Evaluation & Loan Processing
-
Evaluate customer profiles using the Five C’s of Credit.
-
Conduct physical verification of potential clients.
-
Ensure loan bookings follow bank policies and procedures.
-
Coordinate with operations teams for timely loan disbursement.
Portfolio & Risk Management
-
Manage asset portfolio and ensure timely loan repayments.
-
Monitor client repayment behavior and maintain strong collections.
-
Report suspected fraud or potential losses to management.
-
Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and internal control standards.
Operational Compliance
-
Handle customer documentation with strict confidentiality.
-
Ensure customers deposit loan repayments directly at bank counters.
-
Avoid direct cash handling unless strictly required and compliant with policy.

Maintain weekly field activity plans and performance tracking.
Team Leadership & Development
-
Lead and mentor Relationship Officers – Asset Sales.

Train team members on credit assessment and customer evaluation.
-
Motivate and manage the sales team to achieve performance targets.
-
Optimize team productivity through effective resource planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
-
MBA will be considered an advantage

Minimum 3 years of experience in the microfinance or banking industry
