A Relationship Officer – Deposit Banking at Mobilink Microfinance Bank plays a key role in acquiring new customers, managing existing client relationships, and driving deposit portfolio growth. The position focuses on achieving liability targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and promoting deposit products through proactive sales and service initiatives.


Key Responsibilities 🚀

  • Execute customer acquisition strategies to build a strong liability portfolio and achieve cross-sell targets.

  • Develop and maintain a healthy CASA and Term Deposit (TD) portfolio within agreed timelines.

  • Achieve assigned portfolio targets (CASA / Savings Account / Term Deposit) on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Build and manage a deposit mobilization team (up to 25 members) including freelancers and brand ambassadors for retail deposit marketing.

  • Ensure optimal portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits.

  • Mobilize fairly priced deposits to support retail deposit growth through multiple account relationships.

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.

  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and strategies while coordinating with internal branch teams.

  • Maintain daily run-rate targets for deposit mobilization and New-to-Bank (NTB) account openings.

  • Identify customer challenges and coordinate with Relationship Manager / Branch Manager to resolve them effectively.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products.

  • Monitor competitor activities to retain and grow the customer base.

  • Deliver excellent customer service to enhance brand reputation.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.

  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager efficiently.


Eligibility & Requirements 🎯

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • Sound understanding of deposit products and CASA fundamentals.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, retail/consumer banking, operations, or a similar industry (preferred).

  • Strong communication, relationship management, and sales skills.
