The Relationship Manager – Asset at Mobilink Microfinance Bank plays a strategic role in driving asset portfolio growth while ensuring exceptional customer relationship management. This position focuses on developing customized lending solutions, identifying new business opportunities, managing collections, and leading field sales teams to achieve profitability and performance targets.
The role requires strong financial acumen, market awareness, leadership capability, and adherence to regulatory and internal policy frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth

Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve branch growth objectives.

Develop micro-level sales strategies in coordination with Branch Manager / Line Manager.

Identify potential customers, generate leads, and build long-term client relationships.

Achieve assigned sales targets ethically by following bank SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Conduct market assessments to explore new areas and opportunities for asset product sales.

Promote and market loan products aligned with customer needs and market demand.
Customer Evaluation & Loan Processing

Evaluate customer profiles using the Five Cs of Credit framework.

Conduct physical verification of clients prior to loan disbursement.

Ensure transparent communication of product terms and conditions.

Manage loan booking strictly in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

Safeguard customer legal documentation and ensure secure handling.
Portfolio Management & Collections

Manage the branch asset portfolio to maintain quality and minimize default risk.

Ensure proactive loan recovery through regular customer engagement and follow-ups.

Guide customers to deposit repayments through authorized bank channels only.

Maintain 100% compliance with collection manuals when field recovery is required.
Team Leadership & Performance Management

Supervise and mentor Relationship Officers – Asset Sales.

Provide coaching and training to enhance productivity and professional standards.

Conduct capacity planning to achieve loan volume and zero-default targets.

Allocate resources effectively to maximize team performance and retention.
Operations & Compliance

Coordinate with operations teams for timely loan disbursement and cancellations.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and SBP regulations.

Report potential fraud or risk cases to management promptly.

Maintain internal service standards to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (MBA preferred).
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in the microfinance / banking industry, preferably in asset sales or lending.
