Job Overview

We are seeking a competent and proactive Assistant Director – Network Engineer (Internet Segment) to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in routing, switching, firewall deployment, VPN connectivity, and network monitoring to ensure high availability and performance of IT services.

Educational Requirements

🎓 Bachelor’s degree (4 Years) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecom Engineering / Software Engineering or any related discipline.
⭐ Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
📌 Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory.
📑 All academic credentials must be attested by HEC / relevant boards.

Experience Requirements

💼 Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Communications & Networking.
📜 Professional certifications such as CCNA / CCNP will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist Director in planning, coordinating, and managing daily IT and network operations.
 Identify opportunities for network infrastructure enhancements and support implementation.
 Ensure uninterrupted VPN connectivity and availability of network services.
 Configure and deploy firewalls, switches, and network devices across aggregation, core, and perimeter environments.
 Administer email services and perform regular updates.
 Implement basic network security controls to safeguard data.
 Monitor network performance to prevent outages and congestion.
 Troubleshoot multi-vendor network equipment including Juniper, Cisco, H3C, and Fortigate devices.

Position is contractual with a 6-month probation period (extendable).
