At Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL), the Relationship Officer – Asset plays a vital role in building strong customer relationships while driving asset sales growth. This position focuses on understanding customers’ financial needs, promoting relevant banking products, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
The incumbent will serve as a key contact point for customers, providing guidance on loan products, managing sales targets, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve assigned growth targets in coordination with Branch Manager / Relationship Manager.

Generate business by developing relationships with new and existing customers in line with bank SOPs.

Achieve sales targets ethically through genuine customer acquisition and responsible lending practices.

Promote loan products and expand the customer base to enhance overall branch profitability.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential markets.

Evaluate customer profiles using the Five C’s of Credit methodology.

Clearly communicate product terms, conditions, and repayment obligations to customers.

Perform physical verification of prospective clients to ensure loan quality.

Ensure timely recovery and collection of loan repayments through proactive client engagement.

Maintain strict care and confidentiality while handling customers’ legal and financial documents.

Guide customers to deposit repayments through designated bank counters and ensure compliance with collection procedures.

Prepare weekly field activity plans and track deviations in coordination with the Line Manager.

Conduct regular customer meetings as per product program requirements.

Ensure all loan booking activities comply with bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Continuously update product knowledge and provide feedback for service improvements.

Maintain high internal service standards and ensure fair treatment of customers.

Build and sustain long-term customer relationships.

Report suspected fraud or potential financial loss cases to the Line Manager or relevant authority.

Ensure full compliance with State Bank regulations and internal control standards to safeguard the bank’s reputation.
Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (MBA preferred).

Fresh candidates or individuals with 0–1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in field sales environment and meet performance targets.
