🎯 Age Limit: Up to 37 Years (including 5-year general age relaxation)
An excellent opportunity for experienced SATCOM professionals to join as Assistant Director (iDirect Network) on a contractual basis. The role focuses on operations, configuration, and real-time management of VSAT Hub infrastructure and satellite communication network components.
🎓 Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Master’s degree will be preferred
- Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory
- All degrees must be attested from HEC / relevant educational boards
💼 Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in SATCOM VSAT HUB operations
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA / VSAT / SATCOM will be preferred
🛠️ Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- Configure and manage iDirect SATCOM Hub, Line Cards, PP Servers, NMC Servers & RF operations
- Handle hub-side RF components including motorized antennas, LNBs, BUCs, power supplies & spectrum analyzers
- Maintain strong technical understanding of network elements, firewalls, switching and routing protocols
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, support manuals and engineering drawings
📑 Terms & Conditions
- Appointment will be on contract basis with a 6-month probation period (extendable)
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
- Government/Semi-Government employees must submit NOC at the time of application
- Submission of Medical Fitness & Character Certificates will be required upon selection
- Providing false information will lead to disqualification ❌
- No TA/DA will be admissible
- Attested degrees must be presented at the time of interview
