Job Overview
Step into the nerve center of next-generation telecom. This role is responsible for managing and evolving the IMS Core network, ensuring highly resilient, scalable, and cloud-native services including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and SIP-based communications. The ideal candidate blends architectural expertise with operational precision to keep services running like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IMS Core architecture including CSCF (P/I/S-CSCF), HSS/UDM, SBC, TAS/AS, MRF, BGCF/MGCF with high availability and SLA compliance
- Manage and optimize VoLTE, VoWiFi, SIP Trunking, and ensure smooth interworking with EPC, 5GC, PCRF, OCS, SMSC, and roaming partners
- Drive automation across IMS operations including configuration management, KPI monitoring, health checks, and incident correlation
- Perform advanced troubleshooting using SIP/Diameter analysis, ladder diagrams, and RTP/media flow validation
- Ensure seamless execution of SRVCC, emergency call routing, roaming interconnects, and inter-RAT handovers
- Execute IMS expansion projects, software upgrades, and patch management in virtualized/cloud-native environments
- Maintain 100% availability of IMS Core nodes and services through proactive monitoring and preventive actions
- Conduct system health checks and performance tuning to ensure optimal service delivery
- Lead incident management bridges and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Core, Transmission, IT, Commercial)
- Provide mentorship to engineers and contribute to technical capability building
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 6–10 years of telecom experience, including at least 4+ years in IMS Core
- Hands-on experience with virtualized/NFV or cloud-native IMS environments
- Experience with major vendors such as Huawei and ZTE

- Deep understanding of SIP, SDP, Diameter, RTP/RTCP, DNS, ENUM
- Expertise in signaling, routing, and IMS Core platform operations
