Job Description

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for Radio Access Network (RAN) Optimization and Planning activities across the South Region, ensuring superior network performance and enhanced customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor OSS KPIs including accessibility, retainability, mobility, and quality to ensure departmental targets are achieved
• Perform root cause analysis of network performance issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution
• Plan new sites in the South Region, including congestion analysis and implementation of optimization solutions
• Conduct inter-operator drive test benchmarks to evaluate network performance and maintain competitive positioning
• Perform consistency audits for parameters and features to identify discrepancies and ensure standardization
• Lead optimization trials for parameters and features across various RAN releases, measuring impact on network quality and user experience
• Execute network redesign activities including antenna tilt and height adjustments to improve coverage, resolve pilot pollution, and enhance weak cell performance
• Support seamless integration and optimization of newly deployed sites

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in RAN Optimization and Planning

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of RAN Planning for 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies
• Understanding of future network evolution and emerging technologies
