About the Role

The Assistant Manager – Analytics Enablement plays a critical role in managing organizational data requests and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable insights. This techno-commercial position bridges business needs with technical execution, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

You will oversee the information flow, ensuring that reliable data is consistently delivered while improving processes, reducing redundancies, and enhancing collaboration across teams.


Key Responsibilities

Impactful Goals

  • Ensure SLA-based delivery of data across the organization
  • Continuously improve data delivery processes
  • Develop technical artifacts for cross-functional collaboration
  • Automate workflows to eliminate redundant requests

Core Duties

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical queries
  • Delegate and manage daily team tasks effectively
  • Mentor team members and enhance telecom domain knowledge
  • Manage stakeholders across business and technology functions
  • Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and proper definitions
  • Deliver under tight timelines and high-pressure situations
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments and technology teams

Functional Exposure

  • Core Network Systems
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • CBS (Charging/Billing Systems)
  • BVS platforms

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years in Data Warehousing (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (Teradata, Vertica, Hive, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong understanding of Telecom LDM/PDM

Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Understanding of medium to large-scale IT systems, preferably in telecom
  • Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Cloudera, Hortonworks)
  • Expertise in telecom KPIs and data extraction techniques
  • Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience in process optimization and automation
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a team
