Function Overview – Customer Development

The Customer Development (CD) team is the growth engine of the business, focused on delivering sustainable category growth through strong partnerships with customers. In Pakistan, CD supports multiple categories including Beauty & Wellbeing, Personal Care, Nutrition, and Home Care, with a vast distribution network and workforce.


Job Purpose

As Key Account Manager – Central, you will:

  • Drive customer/channel strategies and execute joint business plans
  • Deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and competitiveness
  • Build strong customer relationships and unlock new business opportunities
  • Lead sales performance, execution excellence, and category growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with modern trade customers
  • Plan and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Manage customer P&L and trade investments
  • Lead negotiations for commercial and logistics agreements
  • Oversee in-store activations, merchandising & promotions
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis & trade intelligence
  • Conduct market visits and coordinate with sales teams
  • Lead and coach in-store managers to achieve targets
  • Monitor performance to ensure sales and category growth

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years in Customer Development or Sales roles
  • Experience in category/channel management preferred
  • Strong track record in strategy execution & customer management
  • Proven ability in negotiation and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance
