At Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL), the Relationship Officer – Asset plays a key role in building strong and lasting relationships with customers while promoting the bank’s lending and financial solutions. This position focuses on understanding customers’ financial needs, offering suitable loan products, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with the bank’s policies and ethical standards.
The role requires proactive field engagement, market outreach, and continuous follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction, portfolio growth, and timely loan repayments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales and service plans in coordination with the Branch Manager / Relationship Manager to achieve business growth targets.
- Develop customer relationships by generating leads, identifying prospects, and promoting asset products in assigned areas.
- Achieve sales targets through genuine and ethical practices while strictly following the bank’s SOPs and compliance standards.
- Conduct customer profiling and credit evaluation using the Five C’s of Credit framework.
- Communicate product features, terms, and conditions clearly to customers.
- Perform physical verification of potential clients and maintain proper documentation handling to prevent misuse.
- Ensure effective loan portfolio management through regular follow-ups and 100% recovery performance.
- Guide customers to deposit loan repayments at designated bank counters and avoid direct cash handling except where permitted under strict compliance guidelines.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and recommend growth strategies.
- Maintain weekly field activity plans and conduct periodic customer meetings as per product program requirements.
- Ensure service excellence by adhering to fair treatment policies and minimizing customer complaints.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential loss cases to the Line Manager or Head of Department.
- Maintain full compliance with internal policies and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations to safeguard the bank’s reputation and financial integrity.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and provide feedback for service and process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution (MBA preferred).
- Fresh candidates or individuals with 0–1 year of relevant sales / banking / microfinance experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to work in the field and achieve assigned business targets.
