At Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL), a Relationship Officer – Deposit plays a key role in driving deposit growth by building and managing relationships with individual and corporate clients. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, retaining existing ones, and delivering tailored deposit banking solutions to meet client needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute customer acquisition strategies to build a strong liability portfolio and achieve cross-selling targets.
- Develop and manage a CALSA / TD portfolio within the assigned timeframe.
- Achieve product-wise portfolio targets (CALSA / SA / TD) on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Build and manage a deposit mobilization team by onboarding freelancers/brand ambassadors (up to 25 members).
- Maintain the targeted portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits.
- Ensure growth through fairly priced deposits and multiple account relationships.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain daily deposit mobilization and NTB (New-to-Bank) account opening targets.
- Identify client needs and coordinate with RM/BM for effective solutions.
- Explore opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products.
- Monitor competitor activities to retain and grow customer base.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Line Manager efficiently and effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of deposit products and their functionality.
- Knowledge of CASA fundamentals and deposit growth strategies.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, banking, or operations (preferred).
