The Manager – Bank Reconciliation at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all banking platforms. This role bridges traditional finance with digital innovation, overseeing end-to-end reconciliation of third-party payments, corporate collections, and branchless banking products. The ideal candidate drives automation, enhances data visualization, and supports the bank’s digital transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Excellence & Data Integrity

• Oversee daily reconciliations for complex fund movements: Correspondent Banks, Internal Accounts, Nano Lending, Insurance, Merchant settlements.
• Manage synchronization of third-party payment collections and disbursements.
• Handle daily liquidity requirements, funding cycles, and clearing processes.
• Share reconciled data with Finance, IT, and Business teams to ensure timely settlements and dispute resolution.

2. Digital Transformation & Automation

• Identify manual bottlenecks and implement RPA or advanced scripting for automation.
• Collaborate with IT/Product teams to enhance systems, improve transaction visibility, and auto-matching.
• Leverage emerging fintech tools to optimize data ingestion and anomaly detection.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) guidelines, and Prudential Regulations.
• Lead investigations of complex discrepancies and manage dispute resolution within SLA.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and enforce high standards of conduct.

4. Leadership & Strategic Liaison

• Lead, mentor, and train a team of reconciliation specialists.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Finance, and external partners to align reconciliation outcomes with corporate goals.

Requirements

Education & Professional Qualifications

• MBA, BBA, or MS in a relevant field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ICMA, or CA (Inter) preferred.

Skills & Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• Strong team leadership with focus on reconciliation accuracy, automation, and process improvement.
• Expertise in ADC products including IBFT, UBPS, RAAST, E-Commerce, ATM, POS, etc.
• Track record in audit compliance and dispute resolution.
