Job Purpose

The Customer Experience Manager – Fresh is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring superior customer service, and achieving sales and productivity targets within the fresh category.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute company strategies including DSO, BMPL, and productivity initiatives
  • Support the line manager in achieving overall store and division performance goals
  • Lead, supervise, and monitor department managers to ensure optimal productivity
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of store staff and department heads
  • Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to maximize revenue
  • Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure proper inventory management and accurate record-keeping
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain discipline in attendance, grooming, and professional conduct
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to the Buying team
  • Handle customer complaints effectively and ensure timely resolution

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Intermediate
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in retail or customer operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
