JazzWorld is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive regional sales growth and strengthen our retail and franchise networks. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve targets in Postpaid Sales, Mobile Wallet Activation, Remittances, and Retail/Franchise Business Development. This role reports to the Regional Sales Head and leads a team of Territory Sales Supervisors and Franchise Service Executives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit and familiarize yourself with the assigned market area, including retailers and franchise owners.
  • Mentor team members, address issues, and escalate when necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales of handsets, WiFi devices, remittances, and postpaid subscriptions.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Planning to design campaigns that enhance Postpaid business penetration.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand distribution and retail networks in your region.
  • Lead franchise business development, implement company policies, and optimize distribution routes.
  • Motivate and guide franchise and retail teams, explaining profitability models.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs such as Postpaid Sales, Remittances, Cash-in, MNP, Jazz Cash Wallets, and 4G penetration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (DFS Executives, Sales Operations, Channel Planning, Technical Teams) and external partners (franchisees, retailers).
  • Strengthen channels while ensuring targets are met consistently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6–10 years in sales distribution, channel development, and retail management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute.
  • Proven track record of managing challenging projects end-to-end, from planning to execution.
  • Comfortable working in remote areas and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to supervise sales and franchise teams and drive channel effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills, with professionalism and the ability to balance multiple viewpoints.
