Job Purpose
The Grid Manager is responsible for driving sales, revenue, and business development across the assigned grid. This role ensures optimal mobile broadband performance, trade visibility, channel expansion, and efficient utilization of cell sites.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Drive 3G and 4G sales, including handset sales, by opening new smartphone shops and improving existing retailers.
- Ensure gross adds and channel expansion across SIM selling, ML, VAS, MNP, MBB, ECATs, and postpaid services.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely purchase orders by franchises.
Customer Service & Experience:
- Manage end-to-end complaint resolution and customer satisfaction (CSI) monitoring.
- Ensure quality assurance and a superior customer experience at franchise outlets.
Visibility & Trade Marketing:
- Coordinate BTL activities, trade promotions, market campaigns, and product visibility.
- Enhance brand awareness and organize special events in the territory.
Planning & Strategy:
- Identify untapped areas and guide teams to increase retail penetration.
- Support BDOs in sales route planning and submit accurate forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards, mini load, and recharge.
- Plan localized sales promotions for underperforming areas.
Team Management:
- Train and equip staff and retailers with up-to-date product knowledge.
- Conduct periodic market visits to ensure stock availability.
- Keep channel partners informed about SOPs, targets, and trade promotions.
Merchandising & Business Development:
- Ensure availability of POS materials at outlets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Channel teams on BTL activities, trade promotions, and business development initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- 2–3 years in sales or business development roles.
Skills:
- Generic: Integrity, teamwork, adaptability, time management, interpersonal skills, presentation skills.
- Job Specific: Sales knowledge, business acumen, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, computer proficiency.
