The Section Executive – Meat & Poultry supports the Department Manager in overseeing daily operations of the section. This role ensures high standards of product quality, hygiene, and food safety, while maintaining stock availability and delivering an excellent customer experience. The position also contributes to achieving sales targets through effective team coordination and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the meat & poultry section
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of meat products in line with food safety standards
- Maintain product freshness, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
- Monitor stock levels, inventory control, and minimize shrinkage
- Support sales growth through effective merchandising and customer engagement
- Supervise and guide staff to ensure smooth workflow and service quality
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle queries professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Job Requirements
Qualification
- Intermediate (Minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in retail operations
- Preference for candidates with experience in meat & poultry or fresh food departments
